dear blog

didn't think i'd be here again, did you? well here i am with entry numero deux.
there, all that's left of 2 years worth of french class.

"Thou Leong, wat have u got for brains? hay?!"
those were the exact words my art teacher Logary, a big Aussie mama hurled at me. im pretty sure wats up there isn't a handful of dried grass, but she seemed rather convinced for some reason.

"Dao Liang, ni jiu xiang yi dui lan ni!!"
-comment by Madam Tung, my buxom form teacher. just one out of countless others.

judging from the above, you might have guessed that i wasn't exactly a LKY scholar type of student. u aren't too far off frm the truth. for some unfathomable reason, books seemed to lose their meaning to me along the way. glad i managed to scrape thru poly tho.

Maybe its cos i had to turn into a mini-adult at ages 13 thru 19, and i couldn't handle it, thus rejecting all formulae, lit quotes, chemical equations and what-have-u, chuckin dem all straight into the bin. oh well. now i've transformed back into a child, hoarding toys whenever i can. a tad like Michael Jackson, albeit on a much much smaller scale. Freakish, to say the least.

Yesterday (or the day before, cant recall) afternoon at work in the squadron, while i was leaning against the tool store, ostensibly to book out some screwdrivers, but really just standin around in one of my stoning sessions, my previous instructor suddenly materialised beside me. lol maybe i was too far out tho.

"zhen yang, xin qin bu hao ah?"
was rather taken aback by his seemingly nonchalant comment, cos he was totally right.
didn't want to admit it at first, but asked him how he knew.

"your eyes la! im so old, of cos i know la!" before he laughingly sauntered off. he's not that old really, just 31 or so.

gosh, am i that easy to read?
