imperial march
that the title of the star wars tune? not too sure realy. just released awhile ago, replete with lightsaber duels and darting spaceships with rayguns that shoot red and blue beams. and a walking tin can from the cast of wizard of oz, and a bleating vitamin bottle that scoots about. gotta admit, i havent watched a single episode of star wars. nada. none out of the original trilogy, and i score a big fat 0 out of three for the prequels as well.
i cant make out for the life of me what it is about star wars that makes it so appealing. that makes otherwise normal middle aged office workers go absolutely bonkers, tripping over their own words trying to spread their obsession.
im thinkin of catchin episode 3, but it just seems wrong and out of place to do so, without having watched the other episodes at least 50 times over. wud wanna watch dem all, just to see wat i might've been missing, but i think its gonna be quite a chore to get copies.
watch the original trilogy, den the other.
on the one hand, logic dictates that i should work my way thru the original trio before gettin to the new threesome, no? but on the other, the new 3-parter is a prequel, so i should sensibly watch episode 1-3, before i start the OG right? afterall, wat fun would it be to watch a movie when u already know wats gonna happen next?
then again, i've re-watched The Replacements quite a few times over, despite me knowing the ending beforehand, so well i dunno. shit im contradicting myself.
the bootleg VCD's getting a little jumpy too. if anyone wants to watch it, let me know. spread the love ya haha.
caught Coach Carter sometime ago. quite a neat flick, didn't hurt that the story revolves around hoops. liked the afro-ed white guy, who bears a semblance to allen iverson imo. he had a solo speech somewhere into the show, abt wat one's deepest fear might be. think a portion of it is written on the wall inside some shop too, so i guess it has to be a quote or something.
