went ice skating with my mates a few days ago. didn't expect to be there for more than an hour or so, ended up leaving the place at only 9 plus. 4 hours spent fumbling around on a slippery surface. had a whale of a time though, slipups et all.

i suspect the guy who invented the word lummox must have been eyeing me secretly in a corner for inspiration.

and there was this group of ppl who looked like they were born with hockey blades attached to their feet instead of the standard five digits that most others are issued with. swerving all over the place, with tight turns every few seconds. observed wat they did and tried to mimic their motions. bum met floor, of course.

broke my trusty plastic specs yesterday. the same pair which has been with me thru thick and thin, thru mud and toothpaste food packs. and in the stupidest way possible at that. the lights weren't on, and i had to go and step on them.

never fear! im gonna resurrect them with some super glue!
