just as our local pinoys zero in on lucky plaza, the thais hit golden mile on their weekends, and just as how mustafa is honey to the indians' bees, jurong point or at least the area just outside is the hangout of choice for our bangla nationals. come weekend, multitudes of them convene there, holdin hands and lounging/lying on the concrete slope right outside the mrt station. perfect 45 degree angle too, the slope. perfect for viewing the night sky.

i might be a bit wrong, they might not all be banglas, i have a bit of a dificulty tellin them apart. prolly just like how some angmohs comment that us yellow skinned chinese look all the same to them.

and they all dress up too, lookin very spiffy indeed, some of them. one had on a swanky velvety fedora. and i spied someone in a waistcoat too. maybe i'll see some in shades this sat night.
