sigh. suffered the ignomity of a first round exit.

needed to win 3, but the only win we registered was by virtue of a walkover. hardly inspiring.

1st loss was rather bad. scored 3 of our 4 points, but the opposite guy, who couldnt shoot for nuts in their first game, went on and knocked down 2 treys. ugly outcome.

2nd one was closer. 5-6, i got 4. we played rather well if u asked me. we traded baskets till the end, when we got the chance to knock down the winning shot. but i had to choke, and shot such a clunker i hope no one saw it. free-throw shootout, and i choked yet again. i'd have done myself a harakiri if there was a katana lying around.

the last game was with some pinoys. lost by one again, 6-7. i went 6 for 6, much use it had...

i remembered looking at the few games played before us, and feeling that we got lucky, being grouped with who we got. i'd told the guys that most of them werent all that good, and that we should be able to progress. oh how wrong i was haha...

of course, if we'd got into a matchup with weijian and co, i'd have surrendered immediately, but still, i thought that the general skill level wasnt all that great, but yet we looked like shit out there. so where did that leave us?
