frm one of edison chen's tunes. hmm he really is a very good looking chap, but i doubt he will win the Best Male Artiste award anytime soon. tune just got into my head cos of wat im going to blog abt.

anyway, i got to ball on sunday! i'd called eng and his crew earlier in the day on sat, and he told me they couldn't make it. they'd spent the whole of sat painting some mural for their CCA, and they prolly need some rest to recharge. but later that night, he told me to get my ass to the grounds come sunday.

where: ball court beside 7-11, bishan, near guangyang sec

when i got there, almost the whole bunch were there.
eng, quek, JT, yk, xiqian, andy, yiqi, howard, ah gu, shengwei

they told me that it was a "welcome back to SG" match. had a whale of a time. was winded after 3 rounds, guess i need to get in shape. work on my shooting, since they're all collapsing in on me.

heck, its not like im playing for a pro team or anything. no1 would give a hoot even if im shootin the lights out like stojakovic.

and i got rim! after i hurt my knee, i wasn't able to get up as much as i was able to, but the knee was feeling pretty fine, and i had a go at it. got part of my fingers above, and boy, was i elated. Cloud #99! i mmediately began entertaining thoughts that one day, i might just be able to dunk.

but the familiar throbbing ache was back today when i woke up, so that put paid to any silly ideas.

was quite touched that they all made the effort. 10 undergrads no less, all taking some time out just to make me happy.

wanted to hug dem all sia, but restrained myself. 12 stinky guys in a mass group hug like the teletubbies wouldn't look too good. alright, i wun hug them all even if i was clean and all la, but i was that happy. shook all of their hands afterwards in a very, very serious thank you ceremony for their much-appreciated attendance of the "Leong testimonial game day". lol

now, if any of u guys are into ball, get yr crew down on sunday morning will ya? the court's getting kinda empty.
