the week's over, the big show's over, everyone can let loose the breath they've been holding all week. it's been a long week at work, no more of such stuff hopefully. all in all a pretty good job, methinks. no ground breaking issue to me either way.

ended the week pretty banged up. scratches all over. played hoops with worm on wed at NTU, against a bunch of chinese(read, from china). we've played them so many times, we're kinda casual acquaintances. one of them was this uncle. quite buffed up for a 30-ish dude, i must say. rather tall, arnd 1.8 i guess, so u can pretty much guess his style of play. Power play, banging around in the paint.

didn't know how the heck i ended up guarding him. prolly cos im always tryin to bite off more than i can chew. tot i did a pretty decent job. till i received a Lvl 99 Nine-Star Spinning Heavenly Crushing elbow frm the great master of the Bear Sect. one moment he was backin me down, the next i was standin aside holding my lip.

didn't really hurt, tho blood was on free flow. continued playing, and even had chendol and cheng tng later. but wat i saw when i got home really sucked big-time. in most cases the lip wud be cut on the inside, so u pretty much left it to heal on its own, in its own time. but for some reason, the cut was on the area-between-the-lip-and-nose. rather deep too; a piece of loose meat/flesh flapping limply. there was this hole that bubbled when i let out my breath thru my mouth too.

sure hope it doesn't scar too badly.

saw something that tickled me a few days ago on the train. i was standing in front of this caucasian father, and i kinda noticed his shirt 1st. he had on this tee with a profile shot of Elvis. nothing much, tho i did find wearing cowboy boots a tad queer. my head then travelled up his potbelly, den i noticed his face. he was lookin at something to his right, which was where elvis was lookin too. den it just struck me how similar they looked. the same deep set eyes, pert chin, long sideburns, even the super brylcreemed kali pok head of hair! wished i had a cam phone or something with me den lol.
