cock a doodle doo

scan, print, file. file, file, file. bleah. nothing extraordinarily tough, but i lasted for all of 3 days.

it has been close to 2 months since i last ran, not counting the daily run to catch the bus, which always seem to be there that few seconds earlier than me. not too classy arrival for me, every time.

didn't sleep too much last week. flipped around more times than the roti prata uncle did his wares. i've always been the lightest of sleepers. add to that the fact that i can only sleep in the chinese vampire position cos of my bad back, and it all makes for a very lousy combination.

one night last week, cant really put a finger on which one exactly, i remembered flippin about more than the usual 213 times. i prolly had some thinking to do, contents of which are prolly all nonsense. i'd turned in at 1, and i remembered wakin to a clock display of 4:10.

didn't think i had any more sleep left, went out and finished the entire second half of the book i'd borrowed, together with a mug of lousy coffee. went back to bed at 6ish, gave up, had my 2nd coffee at 7.

that bit of time, between night and first light, is rather nice i say. u can just barely make out the outlines of stuff, and u hear the first sounds of the new day. all pretty fresh to me. of cos, u'd need specs with which to peer thru at the stuff, and i dun have a pair right now.

u get that everyday in BMT, though ur mind is prolly all taken up with pushup and crunch position, so it doesn't realy qualify.

never seen a proper sunrise before, so if u ask me, tt bit of time before is just as nice.
