had a little shoot-a-thon a few days ago. dug in for close to 2 hours, jacking up shot after shot after shot before i got thoroughly winded. must have got abit of the silly madness of old back i reckoned, or maybe im just bored. all good i suppose.

had reunion dinner with the extended family ytd. weirdly enough, while a part of me felt glad to see all the rest, yet another portion felt somewhat... indifferent? ha, it seems like i cant realy ever make up my mind most of the time, can i?

all the little cousins, whether by some heavenly arrangement or not, happen to be around the same age. ha, i mean, they all happen to be around the same age since they were born, but i nv quite realised that. pretty amusing, seeing all of them gushing abt maple story.

i must have polished off half that plate of fried chicken wings.

pah, i'd have thought that only wheezing, bent-over, wizen stodgers and cackling, hook-nosed, cynical shrews felt wringed during festive periods.

got off work today early, shiok. wat made it all the more sweeter was the fact that the weather was good today. grey clouds aplenty, but they didn't let up today. i guess tmr's gonna be rather wet then.

pity no one was free for hoops. went ahead all the same though. got there at 6, shot arnd, met an acquaintance, chitted chatted abit, and continued shootin till 10. its been quite a while since i've gone at it so long alr, and it sure felt good. hopefully abit of the touch is back.

most people arnd me seem to have something in their sights, who doesn't anyway haha. me being the sole exception i guess. nothing concrete anyway, well except maybe that ipod lol.

i'd always harbored tots of being a trooper. u know, those in their tricked out BDUs. which was why i'd played arnd with the idea of signin up with the police. never had i liked the idea of being a constable on the beat though, it was the STAR team i was interested in. haha... goodness! the thought of it! blame it on too many neat flicks in my impressionable years? not exactly also, since im still pretty impressionable right now too. maybe being a goodie two shoes? white versus black? maybe not tt too, wat with singapore having all the rainy grey skies.

forgoed giving ocs a shot too, one of the reasons bein that i wanted to hoop, and tt all the trainin in the army wud nuke watever little fast twitch muscles i have, thus transforming me into... horrors! wormy clone!

kicked and chased a ball yet some more, in free new balance running shoes, and shit, they hurt. hopefully this sunday there's gonna be some quality hoop time.

one and a half week into the new year, and wats new? i feel pretty much the same as last year, if not a little heavier.

sigh, actually that's not feelin, that's reality. i must have gained like 4 kg, wat with the constant 5pm rain, and the supply of food at home which never seems to dwindle, and my ownin a mouth tt has a need to be filled with something, be it food, or foot. got my innards squeezed and pureed into organ juice too.

rain, rain, rain. ARGH! i want to hoop! the mates dun seem to have much time for hoops these days, and i've taken to kickin a ball around. footie's pretty fun too, even tho i suck bigtime at it.

weiling turned 21! and wat a big place tt was. leave me alone for 5 mins and i'll prolly get lost. full grown adult alr, she can finally go to yangtze theater and watch the latest chinese R(A) flick. bet she's been waiting for the longest time. i wish she becomes a solitaire pro.

its just flat out disgusting that the heavens always, and always, decide to let up just about everyday, and always, always do it in the 5-6pm timebelt. like clockwork, like an endless rerun of Days Of Our Lives. u think u want to hotfoot it home, tug on ur kicks, and see if u can squeeze in some much needed shooting time, and while ur in the train, u see the little drops of water pattering on the door window.

porky got his job! night shift, perfect for his sleepin habits. never knew a nocturnal pig, save for this 1.

day 2 of the new year. havent got down to making any resolutions, maybe i will later this week, or maybe i'll just forget it all, since just about all of them will most prolly be broken within the week.

got a few xmas and new year sms. and a merry xmas and a happy new year to them. jolly good eh? ha...

woke at 3 odd, 4 today to open the door for sis. good thing for her i'd forgotten to switch off my phone. lousy lass still snoring away now.

quite the light sleeper i am, i must have awakened within 5 secs of the ringtone. its as if im not sleepin at all; it seems like the body was waiting for the alarm to start.

got out into the living room sofa, scarfed down 3 cream puffs which had magically appeared on the dining table, made myself read more of the book. halfway thru, and i still dun realy dig it. gave up and went back to bed.

lookin at stuff thru vastly myopic eyes is rather cute. rubbish swirling abt inside, noises of the day not started yet, masses of birdies trilling madly outside, observing objects slowly takin form, waiting for the dark to gradually turn into the half-light of day. ha, im not gonna go all poetic and wax lyrical abt the prettiness of dawn and all, cos im a cheena piang, and i cant muster a decent effort.

bummed to the nearby food court, polished off some chai tow kway, toast, tea, finally finished the book, and here i am.

oh well, happy new year to all who drops by here.
