as im 2 fingering the keyboard now,
it'd be slightly more than 48 hours since i last saw my bed.

it'd be good were it for important stuff,
but unfortunately its all been frivolous fluff.

and soon after i push the publish button,
it'd be back to home for me.

but off to sleep i wun droop,
instead i'll be going straight to the hoop.

cabby: ok can.

cab goes putt putt putting off, leong sees that cab is in town already.

leong: uncle sorry i want to go to shaw now 1st. stop here first ok?
cabby: ah? i thought u said balmoral? now wan shaw ah?
leong: ya sorry, cos reach orchard 1st mah, so might as well stop here 1st.

cab stops, fren scoots off.

leong: uncle, can go balmoral now already.
cabby: what? i thought u said shaw just now?
leong: no, i wanted to go balmoral 1st, den shaw. but reach orchard 1st so stop here 1st loh...
ok nvm, now we go balmoral.
cabby: what u mean nvm?
leong: ?? nvm loh, now just carry on to balmoral loh.
cabby: nvm? u never tell me u want go two places leh! u know i can get 2 dollar extra (surcharge) if i stop here anot?
leong: ok forget it, now i wan go balmoral k?

cabby grunts somethin intelligible and turned into the road.

leong: uncle how much?
cabby: 8.

leong fishes out a tenner, hands it to cabby.
cabby gives back a single dollar coin.

leong: i thought 8 dollars only?
cabby (pissed face): ya, but u just now make me cannot take the 2 dollars. can give me anot?
leong (slightly less pissed face): can like that one meh?
cabby: oh u dun wan to give ah? ok loh.
leong: ... ok forget it.

cabby smiles: ok thank you ah. have a nice day.

today i attacked the hills.
today i lasted all of 3 rounds.
today i realised im outta it.

lost the battle, but hopefully not the war.

someday i will work on it.
someday soon i hope,
someday, before im losing it all.

does that mean i cant have any more bak kwa?

been quite awhile since the last post.

cant do anything abt it though, the com's still dead. not that i cant, just that mucho moolah is required, and im running well low on it at the moment. scratch that, im low on dough since forever.

CNY's around the corner, and im quite enjoying the bak kwa. polished off the better part of the 1kg at home, im sorry i cudn't resist.

came across this line sometime back:
short guys have to prove they can play,

how bloody true.
